What’s up guys!
We know that Indeed is the go-to platform for hiring in the portable sanitation industry, and we wanted to make it easy for you to post jobs—and rank higher than others that are posting jobs—by creating templates for common positions. We’ve created them in a way that is search engine friendly for Indeed.
It’s similar to, if you’ve heard of SEO for Google, where you come up higher on the page—we’ve worked to create these templates that will actually help you come up higher against maybe your competitors when you’re posting jobs on Indeed.
Now there’s definitely other factors involved, whether you’re paying for it or not, but just taking that out of the equation for now—the bottom line is: here are templates to make it super easy to post jobs and get people hired, especially before the busy season.
So let me walk you through this a little bit:
Page One: Instructions
Basically what you want to do is:
- Pick the template that you’re looking for.
- Let’s say it’s going to be a Route Driver.
- Choose the description that aligns with what you’re hiring for.
- You might want to modify it a little bit to help it fit your business.
- Customize the content.
- We put placeholders for things like your company name, city, state, etc.
- Definitely add company-specific information in there—maybe you really focus on culture, or have a bonus program, or lunch on Fridays.
- Personalize those sections!
- Tailor the responsibilities and job qualifications.
- These are close to industry standard, but I’m sure you’ll want to make them a little more specific for your team.
- Proofread the whole thing.
- Make sure you’ve taken out all the placeholders where we’ve called out: “you should modify this section.”
- And then… post it.
What Roles Are Included?
We’ve created templates for all of the most common roles:
- Route Driver
- Customer Service Representative
- Inside Sales Representative
- Outside Sales Representative
- Office Manager
- Dispatcher
- Yard Manager / Supervisor
- Yard Attendant
So that’s it—we hope this makes it easier for you to post jobs on Indeed and welcome that new employee who’s going to be a great fit with your culture.
Thanks so much!
