**Introduction**
**Speaker 1:** What’s up, guys? We’re here in Norwalk, Connecticut, setting up for a boat show with Royal Flush. Today, we’re going to be showing you a little day in the life of setting up a porta potty event, so come along.
**Loading at Norwalk Cove Marina**
**Speaker 1:** Today, we are loading in here at the Norwalk Cove Marina for the boat show. This is actually our first year doing this event. Our sales team is obviously qualifying the customer, but when it comes time to put the sale into ServiceCore, we’re entering the first trailer delivery ticket. At that time, that is what our frontline technician is going to be seeing on his or her screen when they get to the site. We make sure that in that note section, we’re including all pertinent information about placement. We also make sure that we put the site contact in, as well as multiple site contacts when they get to site.
There can also be attachments in ServiceCore on that job ticket, so we can put a site map. Often, when we’re putting a sale in, we’re also looking. We’ve dropped the pin in ServiceCore, and we’re looking at the site. We’ll also pull up Google Maps and get an aerial shot of the site as well so we can better understand what our drivers are going to encounter when they load in. Sometimes, someone says, “Oh, I have a pretty normal driveway, there’s just a little bit of a bend in it,” and you look at it, and it’s a quick S curve that our trucks and trailers may have difficulty navigating. We always want to try to address that ahead of time and talk it through.
We often pull in our senior ops manager here in Connecticut, or our other branch managers in our other locations, to do complimentary site visits once the client is booked. We want to make sure that we’re going to be able to get in and out without incident on the day of the event.
**Restroom Trailers and Customer Preferences**
**Speaker 2:** What we have here is one of our recently refurbished restroom trailers. When we are qualifying for an event of any kind, whether it be a wedding or a boat show like this one, we’re always wondering and talking to the clients about what their aesthetic choices and desires are. We actually did this work ourselves on several of our trailers that look like this to give them more of that Coastal shiplapped interior. This is not something that you can buy; this is a custom interior that we had designed. It works great in the Hamptons, it works great at a boat show on a beautiful marina here in Connecticut, and it works great in Florida and Palm Beach in the wintertime. It’s very versatile.
It’s about us listening to what our customers want, and sometimes what they want is not something that you can buy. So, we’re always looking to innovate and adapt to give our customers something exciting and new that is outside of industry standard.
