**Introduction**

**Speaker 1:** I was nervous, okay, because I’m tech-challenged. Remember, I’m old. Okay, I’m 60 years old; I’m an old man. So, I’m techno-challenged to say the least. Again, we have really, really patient girls in here that really help me a lot because I don’t know what’s going on with it. But they make it all on my phone so that all I have to do is hit the button and put my fingerprint in. I don’t have to remember codes and all the other junk. They made it very easy for me to use it. And I’m going to tell you right now, if I can catch on to it, your program will work with anybody because I’m a dinosaur.

**Favorite Features**

**Speaker 2:** What’s your favorite thing about using ServiceCore?

**Speaker 1:** Not having to keep up with a whole bunch of paper in the truck. You remember what we do; we stay wet, we work in weather. Paperwork sometimes gets a little bit messy. So having it on the phone, and they can change anything they want to while we’re in the field, that’s great. Send it right to our phones. We do an on-call service; we are a 24 hours, 7 days a week company. And whenever they call us after hours, they can send it to our phone, and we don’t have to worry about coming to the office and getting paperwork.

We don’t have to worry about, okay, say we’re too far away to go get paperwork. We still hear the job, now we have to write everything down, keep it all straight, and then transfer it from our notes to a form. They have made it so ServiceCore has made it to where it’s all in our phones, and we can do it all right on the job.

It makes us more efficient because now we can finish a job on-site, complete all the paperwork in our phones on-site, and submit it. Now, the girls in the office can take that and bill a customer in the same day or within 24 hours instead of waiting for us. Sometimes we don’t get back to the office while it’s open, and it could take two days, three days for us to get our paperwork back in, which puts the company behind in billing. I know that’s not my part of the job, but it’s all relevant to what we do. But in the field, the biggest thing is they can send me anything they want to my phone, and I get it right now.

**Initial Reactions**

**Speaker 2:** How did you feel when you first started using the mobile app?

**Speaker 1:** I was skeptical of it, but I like it. I do. I like the direction that the company’s going with it. I like how easy I can get all of my work orders to me right now. I don’t have to wait. I love that. I like being able to clear my work orders, get them to the office. Now, my responsibility is done, now it’s on somebody else. See, that as a driver is great. Not having to keep up with all the paperwork, not having to worry about getting one dirty or maybe something went to fall and I grabbed it with a dirty glove, and now I have to rewrite that whole paperwork because I’m not going to give it to them like that. I’m a fan, and I wasn’t at first, I’m not going to lie. I wasn’t, but the more we use it, the more I get comfortable with it, the more I like it.

**Concerns and Questions**

**Speaker 2:** What were you most nervous about?

**Speaker 1:** You can’t hurt it. And once they explained to me, no matter what you push, if you already got anything in it, it stays. You have to go into it to delete. I’m like, okay, so I can’t hit a wrong button and lose all of my information. Once they told me that, I got a little bit more comfortable because that’s my biggest fear—hitting the wrong thing and everything goes. Then you’re like, uhoh. But they assured me that it’s “jim proof.”
