Introduction
Speaker 1: What’s up guys? In this video, we’re going to walk through the steps of servicing a portable restroom. In this video, you’ll see Cisco. He’s a driver at Portable Restroom Solutions, one of our customers, and he’s going to walk us through the steps of servicing a portable restroom.
Servicing the Portable Restroom
Speaker 1: All right, the first thing you’re going to see is that Cisco pulled the truck as close as he could to the portapotty. You’re not always going to be able to do that, but obviously, it’s going to make your life a lot easier. The first step that he’s going to do is clean out the toilet. He’s going to suck out the waste and make sure that there’s nothing on the floor or trash to pick up. He might take a mental note, take a glance over at the toilet paper, and make sure that that’s looking good. This unit was pretty clean when we came up to it.
The next thing you’ll see him do here is he’s going to grab a deodorizer and put it inside the toilet before he takes the next step. You’re going to see he’s going to fill some fresh water, a 5-gallon bucket. If you live in a state that gets really cold during the winter, this might be your brine that you’re going to fill it with, but in this case, it was a warm Colorado day, and he’s going to fill this 5-gallon bucket and put it in the toilet.
Speaker 1: All right, the next thing that Cisco is going to do is he’s going to take some sanitizer as well as a scent solution. It’s pretty cool because he looks like he’s in the Wild West. Cisco is really fast. He’s going a little slower on this unit, but he takes one bottle in each hand and starts spraying. Here you’ll see him spraying down the urinal, spraying down the seats, the walls, the floor, making sure he gets every spot, and then, of course, coming behind that with a freshwater hose, making sure that everything is cleaned up. He’s also going to check the hand sanitizer in this unit. In this case, this one was full; it also had enough toilet paper.
Speaker 1: You know, one thing I like to call out about Cisco and PRS is they really take pride in the way that their toilets look. So here you’ll see him, after he sprays it down, he’s wiping it. He’s got some towels on the truck, and he has a pretty cool method of drying that’s not in the video here, but the point is this is your reputation. Cisco is making sure that PRS’s reputation is known for cleanliness. This unit’s going to look great once he’s done going through the steps here of making sure this unit is clean.
Final Steps
Speaker 1: Lastly, because they use ServiceCore, here’s where you can provide better service. Cisco is going to hit “complete job” now. His dispatcher knows that this job is done. The next thing you’ll see him doing here is he’s going to take a picture of the outside of the unit, and that picture is timestamped. He’s also going to open up the door here and take a picture of the inside of the unit so that way you know your customer is getting the best service possible.
Speaker 1: All right, guys, if you like that video, please don’t forget to like and subscribe.
